On May 17, 2025, we hosted our annual Appapalooza event, the exciting finale of the Technovation Girls Minnesota season. This year’s virtual live pitch showcase featured impressive mobile and web apps developed by girls across Minnesota, each designed to tackle real-world challenges through technology.

A total of 23 teams completed and submitted their projects for local judging and the Technovation Global competition. This milestone represents months of dedication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

In the lead-up to Appapalooza, our volunteer judges reviewed each team’s materials, including pitch videos, source code, and business plans. During the live event, they watched the final presentations, asked insightful questions, and engaged directly with the participants. Their thoughtful feedback played an important role in shaping the experience.

Winners were announced the following day at our Code Savvy Celebrate event. This gathering honored not only the top teams, but also the many participants, mentors, and volunteers who made the season a success.

Appapalooza 2025 was more than just a pitch event. It was a vibrant celebration of innovation, perseverance, and the impact of empowering girls in STEM. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a meaningful and memorable experience!
