Code Savvy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing and promoting inclusive computer science education to teachers and students of all ages throughout Minnesota.
Code Savvy Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative support in managing various tasks related to Google Workspace, Quickbooks, Jira, accounts payable and receivable, meeting coordination, and data management.
Responsibilities:

Manage Google Workspace, ensuring documents and files are organized, updated, and easily accessible for the team.

Assist with Quickbooks management, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling accounts with the Executive Director.

Effectively utilize Jira to manage tasks, projects, and workflows, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Attend meetings and take comprehensive notes, including Board meetings when the Secretary is unavailable.

Update Jira boards and task statuses based on meeting discussions and decisions.

Collaborate with the Operations committee to document and update tasks, procedures, and workflows.

Maintain and update individual donor entries and participant data in DonorView.

Collaborate with the Executive Director to reconcile Quickbook accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:

Previous experience with Google Workspace, Quickbooks, and Jira is strongly preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in taking meeting notes and summarizing key points accurately.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Familiarity with non-profit organizations and related financial processes is a plus.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Pay Rate: $25/hour, 20-30 hours per week, depending on needs
