Volunteer Opportunities

All of our programs benefit from the assistance and support of Volunteers.

Whether it is a couple of hours at an after-school program, a virtual code club on a Saturday afternoon, or a two-year term on our Board of Directors or working committees, we have volunteer opportunities for everyone!

We are also always looking for Mentors for our programs, including our Saturday Code Explorer sessions and our 12-week Technovation[MN] challenge.

Sponsorships are always welcome for events like Appapalooza and our MN Codes Summit, as well as our new podcast...

Please fill out the form on this page to let us know you're interested and we will find a perfect match for your engagement!

Come pass the spark of curiosity. Be a Code Savvy mentor.

Being a Code Savvy mentor means building skills, nurturing ingenuity, and instilling confidence in the next generation of innovators. Join us in helping teach and encourage kids to solve problems creatively while opening doors for their future.

Is mentoring right for me?

Some mentors have a background in computer science, but many do not. Regardless of background, all of our mentors offer kids access to a role model and stories of real-world experiences. Mentors might not know the answer to every question the kids ask, but they’re there to discover the answer together.

If you have a passion for STEM and a love for helping kids learn and grow, come volunteer with Code Savvy!
