Our Educator Programs are designed to develop computer science awareness, skills and resources among K-12 and after-school educators through hands-on workshops, conferences and mentoring, all with a focus on equity in computing

The main focus of Code Savvy is the development of opportunities for youth to engage in coding activities. Mentor provide support and encouragement for youth ages 8-18 in a variety of environments and locations through the Twin Cities and greater MN area.

Young women ages 12-18 design and code mobile apps as they participate in this global coding and entrepreneurial challenge) + the festive Appapalooza

Free, mentored coding environment for kids 8-16. Started April 2013 and has welcomed 1000+ young coders to explore web and app design, gaming, systems and electronics.

Free mentored coding environment for girls and young women ages 8-16. Started February 2016 and has welcomed 130+ young girl coders to explore Scratch, App Inventor, Python, and Arduino.
Wide variety of summer programming for youth ages 6-17

Minnesota’s most rural chapter of CoderDojo, focused on giving young people a free, supportive, open-ended environment for learning and advancing technology skills. We offer coders ages 6-18 a safe space to be creators and not just consumers of technology

Partners with community sites in low opportunity neighborhoods to teach kids to code in after school programs

The AI Racing League is a fun way to learn AI using small computers (Raspberry Pi and Nvidia Nano), computer vision, Python, machine learning, and RC-cars. Our curriculum is inspired by the DonkeyCar and the CoderDojo mentoring system.
