Our Interim Executive Director
Christina llamas
Christina Llamas brings more than 20 years of experience in talent management, technical recruitment and acquisition within the technology industry. She began her journey with Code Savvy in 2016 as a mentor for Technovation Girls Minnesota, guiding teams of girls for seven years. She later served as the program’s Chapter Ambassador and Community Chair before moving into People Operations, where she played a key role in transforming the organization from an all-volunteer team to its current structure.
Christina has been instrumental in developing policies, processes, and operational foundations that strengthen Code Savvy’s impact. Her career in technical recruitment has shown her the life-changing impact of early access to computer science programs, particularly for youth historically left out of tech. This insight fuels her passion for creating inclusive pathways that empower all young people to thrive in STEM.
