Code Savvy is pleased to announce the Spark Scholarships for students interested in pursuing training in computer science or business entrepreneurship. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some financial help to boost your journey toward technology and entrepreneurship.

Who can apply?

If you have participated in a Code Savvy program, in any year, this scholarship is for you! We offer scholarships for the following age ranges:

  • Age 8 – 11: $500 scholarships for individuals ages 8-11 (age on Aug 1, 2026)
  • Age 12 – 14: $750 scholarships for individuals ages 12-14 (age on Aug 1, 2026)
  • Age 15 – 18: $1,000 scholarships for individuals ages 15-18 (age on Aug 1, 2026)
  • Age 19 – 26: $1,250 scholarships for individuals ages 19-26 (age on Aug 1, 2026)

What can I use the scholarship towards?

Scholarships must be used for tuition, training, equipment, or any other computer science or entrepreneurial-related programs.

Application Process

Before applying, take time to reflect on your journey with Code Savvy and beyond.

Consider questions like:

  • How did your involvement with Code Savvy shape your passion for technology, software development, design, or entrepreneurship?
  • What specific projects, skills, or experiences influenced your interests or future goals?
  • Beyond Code Savvy, how have you continued exploring tech or entrepreneurship (personal projects, internships, hackathons, classes, self-learning, etc.)?
  • What have you learned about yourself as a creator, your strengths, areas for growth, and the challenges you’ve worked to overcome?
  • What are your long-term aspirations in technology or entrepreneurship?
  • How would this scholarship help you move forward, especially if you’ve faced financial, personal, or technical barriers?

We encourage you to be thoughtful, specific, and honest in your responses. Share real examples. Tell your story. Help us understand not just what you’ve done, but who you’re becoming as a creator and problem-solver.🔥

Spark Scholarship Applications are now open for 2026! Applications are due by 11:59 pm on April 27th, 2026. Scholarships will be awarded at the Code Savvy Celebrate Event on May 17th, 2026 at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, MN.

Please note, for all groups except those in the 19-26 category, a parental consent form must be completed for the application to be considered complete (see link within the application form). You also have the opportunity to add a letter of reference, so be thinking about who you might want to ask for that part of the submission.
